SUMMARY

Pyramid Tequila manufactures premium tequila, which is making its way into retail stores around the country. Pyramid Tequila’s tequilas are produced in one of Mexico’s top distilleries, which crafts the spirit without additives and uses only organic, fully ripened, Blue Weber agave. All of these tequilas work in cocktails, but they are a luxury product that is best enjoyed—at least in our opinion—as a sipping drink, either neat or on the rocks.

Approach

To differentiate this premium brand from other tequilas, we looked towards the ancient Mayan culture for inspiration. The history, celebrations and rituals of this ancient culture were the perfect backdrop for this product.

BOTTLEDESIGN

Following the impressions delivered by the brand’s name, we designed a bottle that mirrored the architecture of the ancient Mayan pyramids. The blue color of the bottle not only gave it a unique shelf presence, but also alluded to the blue agave used in its distillation process.

LOGODESIGN

The logo design speaks to both the antiquity and the opulence associated with Mayan culture. Gold was the natural choice for the embossed emblem, representing The Sun God. Kinich Ahaw, which translates as “Sun-faced Ruler.”

OOHCampaign

Along with our building banners and interactive street installations, we developed a magnificent 3D rendering of the bottle that could be displayed in various spaces in the Metaverse. New York City's Times Square is one of the most iconic and well-known spots for DOOH ads, making it an excellent choice of location for Pyramid Tequila’s digital ads.
